The winter test sessions for the Motozoo Racing Team have ended. The long pre-season test session scheduled by the Meratese team this March ended with the two days of testing at Misano.

It began with the shakedown at the beginning of March on the Cervesina circuit, in the province of Pavia, where the goal was to test the new Ride-by-Wire accelerator control system with the two riders of the new line-up, Tom Booth-Amos and Luke Power.

For Luke it was also the first opportunity to make contact with the team with which he will make his debut in the Supersport World Championship. The following week the team moved to Spain, to Aragon, where two intense days of testing took place in which several kilometers were covered with very satisfactory lap times, despite the track temperature not being optimal.

Finally Misano Adriatico in the first days of this week. Here too excellent lap times despite not looking for the time but only to grind as many kilometers as possible. For Luke, both Misano and Aragon were the first experiences on tracks where the World Championship will be held: the young Australian showed that he knows how to adapt quickly and lapped with times not far from those of his more experienced teammate.

Luke Power #68:

“I’m really happy for this start to the season, they were very positive tests where I learned a lot, worked a lot and had fun. There was an excellent feeling with the team right away, they are really very professional and they have helped me a lot in this beginning, they are the right team for my entry into the Supersport World Championship. We have done a great job, we have improved progressively and I personally have grown a lot with the harmony with the bike and the team. Now I can’t wait to get on track for the first race in Assen”.
