MOTOZOO Me Air Racing – Donington Report

 In News

The weekend at Donington Park ended with a fantastic sixth position overall for Motozoo Me Air Racing. It was also an event at wich Luke Power showcased his ability to shine over the weekend, although his twenty-sixth position does not reflect the young Australian rider’s growth.

In race one Luke performed well, advancing several places to enter the Top-20. Unfortunately a fall meant that he lost positions, but he got backup again and finished in twenty-second place.

For Luke race two was a comeback, thwarted by going straight into the gravel which slowed him down and lost him several positions, forcing him to finish twenty-fourth.

Luke Power #68:
“This weekend I certainly gained confidence with the bike. I feel like I’m growing, both in harmony with the bike and in my approach to the races. The team is giving me great support, and it would have been nice to be able to finish the weekend with an entry into the Top-20. Unfortunately, a fallin race one and a detour into the gravel in race two meant that I wasn’t able to take home a result that would have given credit to my growth process. The level here is very high, so experience, knowledge of the tracks and harmony with the bike are fundamental. I’m growing step-by-step and I’m sure I’ll get good results in the next races!”
