Luke Power Starts 2025 Season Testing In Spain

 In News

Luke Power’s 2025 season is underway.

The Australian youngster, who will contest his third season of FIM Supersport World Championship competition with the Motozoo squad this year, has spent the past week at the Andalucia Circuit in Spain working through an extensive test program ahead of the season opening race at Phillip Island, Australia in mid-February.

Using the opening two days to blow away the winter cobwebs Luke worked closely with his new Crew Chief with the prime focus being a base setting for his MV Agusta F3 800R.

Posting satisfactory lap times and sticking to the plan on Monday and Tuesday, Luke’s final two days (on Thursday and Friday) were spent making longer runs on track before a time attack with his team mate Federico Caricasulo on Friday afternoon saw the #68 improve even further.

With both rider and team happy Luke will now return to his native Australia to make final preparations for his first world championship race at home.

Stay tuned to his social media accounts over the coming days to find out how you can support him during the season.

Luke Power:

“My four-day pre-season test at the Andalucia circuit is over and I am happy with the work done and the progress we have made. We worked through a lot of things and evaluated a lot of parts which was something new to me, but I really enjoyed this new experience and am pleased with the result. It was also nice to work with my new crew chief for the season and going through our structured plan over the week together achieving our targets. On the final day to do some different length runs and to work on track again with my team mate was fun. Now I am flying back home to Australia with good feelings and excitement for round one of the world championship.”
