Luke Power is currently contesting the FIM Supersport World championship thousands of miles from home.
He may only be 19 years of age but his speed and natural talent have already secured numerous wins and titles in his native Australia, as well as selection for the prestigious Asia Talent Cup, which is seen by many within the sport as a #RoadToMotoGP
Riding motorcycles since the age of 3, Luke took to the track for his first race when he was just ten years old, impressing many with his results.
With limited experience he won several local state titles before being selected to take part in the Asia Talent Cup in 2019.
Running alongside MotoGP and WorldSBK, Luke ultimately finished seventeenth overall, achieving a best result of ninth in the season finale at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.
Returning to his native Australia he won the Australian Moto3 Championship and finished fifth in the Australian Supersport 300cc before before finishing sixth overall in his debut season aboard a larger Supersport machine.
2022 saw Luke race the MotoAmerica Supersport championship – one of the most competitive domestic series in the world. Multiple top six finishes against factory backed riders put the spotlight on this rising star from downunder, his podium finish at Road America ensuring that his name was the one being talked out before the season reached the midway point. A second podium in the season finale ensured fifth overall in the series with Luke becoming the youngest overseas rider to achieve the feat.
In 2023 Luke raced in the FIM World Supersport Championship with Motozoo ME AIR Racing.
He remains with the squad for the 2024 season after inking a deal to stay with the Italian team that becomes the official MV Agusta satellite team.
